Def Con 1 anybody? ;)

Carlo Garganese ‏@carlogarganese
Al Jazeera are reporting that Cristiano #Ronaldo will not extend his contract at #RealMadrid, which expires in 2015

Oh shit here we go fucking again. No he isn't coming to City, no I don't want him, yes he is an unbelievably good player. We might agree a fee, we might agree his wages but the player WILL NOT come to City 100% guaranteed.

Thanks a lot LC. :-)))

I reckon one of the most likely signings is

Gago. Why? Mancini has tried for him before. He's not wanted at Madrid and he's an Argentinian teammate of our 3 amigos. He'd be a useful addition to CM.
Not a superstar granted but woule fit in easily.

No he isn't Rick..He is 29 on his next birthday...

He is still very injury prone and has had one decent season in 7.

That's not correct really. He has had one extraordinary season goal scoring wise but he has been a a great player over many seasons. It is just unfortunate that injuries have restricted him.
If City could get 25 league games and 15 goals from Van Persie then that would be great. Van Persie is the type of guy who has the guile to score goals when you are struggling away at West Brom. Its not the amount of goals with Van Persie but the manner and the timing in which he gets them that is important.

If we are buying a player from Real Madrid would prefer Shain myself. :-)

Sahin. Yes so would I, but just get a feeling that Gago would be very uncomplicated. Available, liked and cheap.

-- Sun Jul 15, 2012 7:09 pm --

i agree. RVP is top draw and would be able to be rotated by city anyway if need be, keep him fresh. no chance of that happening at arsenal when they're having to rely on the likes of chamakh and bendtner ;)
