I will miss all this intrigue and excitement after the bombs have finally dropped. That said we will then have the pleasure of watching these bombs explode.
Reminds me of Xmas as a kid with Tolmie playing the part of my big brother who would climb into our loft to see what presents had been hidden up there by my Mum and Dad.

Last time we were "dynamic" we ended up with Crocky!
You've gotta be joking?
That transfer took forever. Hughes forced it through and knew the injury risk he was taking. The financial kick back he got probably had a lot to do with it.

Twas a play on the word, "dynamic" mate.

Hughes did like to use the word now and then...
Sorry, yeh Hughes was cliche ridden missed that one, too subtle ;)

Hahahaha.

Bang on the money!

"Is the box big Tolmie?"
"Does it sound like a snes?"
"Is it hard or soft?"(dirty minds will make something of that)
"Does it feel like a PlayStation game?"

Big brother Tolm.

Straight fight with Arsenal for Niang.

They are now the favourites and the boy enjoyed his time on trial.

Marwood has dragged heels and been caught napping. Bobby won't be happy if we get done on this one.

Wanted him out in Austria.

Could it be a case of lay off Niang and we will accept said bid for RVP ?

That is a very good point mate.

To any fans of other clubs browsing on here who are getting the impression that City fans are a bunch of spoilt, dick heads who chuck their toys out of the pram, when a new one doesn't arrive on demand: 99% of City fans also think these people are dick heads.

Most of us are not like this.

Hasnt tolmie said we are no longer in for him?

if tolmie said that then it must be true

Tolmie never said that. He said we were not intrested at the figures quoted, that doesn't mean that things don't change. Tolmie also never said the wages and fee are to high for us these days, he said that city won't pay that for cavanni.

that must be true as well then

-- Tue Jul 17, 2012 12:01 pm --

Cue mass suicides on the forum, 27 arguments, 15 cunts and 4 warnings.

I think your estimate of 15 may have been something of an understatement

We need to be more dynamic getting transfer deals done.
It feels like we're trying to get a job down by the council.
All "Committees and red tape".
Restrictions like: "we must sell before we buy" are self imposed.
i`m sure if we were buying decent players we could have 4 or 5 players in now mate but we are shopping in harrods nowadays compared to aldi! i must admit though it is frustrating when chelsea walk on and just lump the required deal for hazard and their targets and bang its done?! we seem to take a while to sort ours! :-(
I understand what your saying, I just wonder if our decision making process is too bureaucratic? I realise there's big money at stake.
Mancini has been frustrated in the past and was slow to sign his new contract, apparently because he was not happy with his power at the club especially in player acquisitions.
As a manager you want players in as early as possible to work with them.

Just because he did eventually sign, doesnt mean he is now 100% happy with the transfer situation. I suspect he still feels frustrated.
I know there is work going on behind the scenes, it just appears each window we are one of the slowest clubs to get deals done.
The lack of adequate pre-season preparation with new players may effect our form next season.

The bombs are dropping but at stamford bridge
Not convinced Di Matteo is the man but Abramovich calls the shots
Hazard, Oscar and moving on Cavani, hulk in the background
Genuine title contenders next season, rags closing on lucas moura
Bayern looming for Martinez
Sell before we buy could leave us hamstrung!

I agree with you Di Matteo isn't good enough, I know that might sound stupid after he won the FA Cup and Champions League, But the luck they got along the way was unbelievable! I reckon he will be sacked before Christmas.

For once the flappers have a point. Some top quality players have moved/are moving clubs, and we'll do very well to improve on the likes of Thiago Silva, Cavani, Ibra, Hazard & Martinez......
