The Spain winger Santi Cazorla has told Arsenal that he is prepared to leave Málaga to join them. Arsène Wenger is keen to sign Cazorla, whom he monitored last summer, and he is hopeful that an offer of €20m (£15.6m) can close the deal.

Negotiations have taken place between the clubs and, although Málaga's initial response was to point to Cazorla's €45m buy-out clause and effectively discourage Arsenal's interest, the Spanish club's worrying financial situation, which could see them relegated if they do not pay outstanding debts, might force them to sell.

£16m for Cazorla? That's a steal.

So according to that article are Malaga within rights to report Arsenal for tapping him up

You seem to be contradicting each post as it goes !!!
Fact = yes.
Posts later = must have happened.
Next post = I am confident (your opinion) !!!

But I also said I am not ITK! Oakie look at our past transfers, somewhere along the line there was always some kind of bullshit made up in the press trying to scupper the deal. The most common one is either the alleged power struggle. If there was any doubt in securing any transfer targets Mancini would of not signed his contract. The rags have money but not a lot of it. They are going flat out in trying to secure Lucas Moura.

He are a couple of examples:http://fourfourtwo.com/news/italy/81963/default.aspx

I apologise if you think I am forcing my opinion on this board or at worse being a wum.

I didn`t say you were wumming, but your posts did contradict each previous post.
However I then saw your your response to another poster who basically asked the same q. that I had and you replied that you had indeed got other things wrong in the past, like Hazzard !!
So, no mate,I`ll take it as read that you`re definately not a Wum and even less an ITK. ;)

-- Tue Jul 24, 2012 9:42 am --

are we still looking for a wing,
we shoudl hijack this one
Agree although I wouldn´t be unhappy if Atleti nicked him

Had to have a self imposed exile from this forum before my head exploded, anything actually happening ?

The stories today about Mancini/Marwood are leaks from Arsenal to their own press pool.

It shows you how desperate they are to ramp the price up to the maximum.

The articles are by John Cross (Mirror) and Charlie Wyett (Sun), coincidentally, they just happen to be London based writers on Arsenal's current tour of the Far East.

It is becoming increasingly obviously United and Juventus' leaked interest is currently at such a level, Arsenal are really having to stir it up to the max.

We certainly need to be more proactive on arriving at a decision as to whether it is Dzeko or Tevez which makes way, but the reason for it can certainly be explained.

Neither player is prepared to publicly state they want away, added to a pay-off, the low-balling of Arsenal on Van Persie will hopefully balance the scale.

And what the fuck is Adebayor doing in New York. Just seen out there last few days?

Guy is taking the absolute piss but we should have good news in and out the next seven days.

When others tell you all is lost, I say ignore the bullshit and let's be sensible about this ;)
