if you know mancini isn't in control of our tranfer policy then you surely must know who actually is in control.

please , share with us your phenomenal knoledge

City have an executive committee for transfers which used to be Rigg, Khaldoun, Marwood, and Mancini, but I guess now would be Khaldoun, Marwood, and Mancini. Also didn't the gaffer state in an interview last week that he wasn't in charge of bringing players in. I believe the quote when asked about incoming players from him was "Ask the man in charge of this." Which would imply it isn't him.

i think he meant that mancini choose the players he want , but he has nothing to do with negotiating the deal with the club and player like fees, salary etc ,

so , who is ? a 3 people committee where 2 of them are best friend and only one of them understand professional football ??

To be honest I don't fully understand what you mean mate. There's no way that the gaffer has players imposed upon him, so in that sense he will always have the final say on which players come in. I think the point the previous poster was making was that, just as we saw at the end of last summer and in January of this year, as much as the manager way want an extra x million to buy a player, the owners are very conscious of the financial fair play regulations and therefore he may not necessarily get the number of players he wants or the most expensive players he wants. Hope that makes sense!

I hope we sign someone soon just to stop all this bollox on who is on charge of transfers

We lost our Chief Scout who was brought in by Mark Hughes. So it was no suprise he quit and joined QPR near the end of last season. I have no doubt that Roberto Mancini has the contacts as well. What I am hoping is that our current set up are all on the same wavelength.

Thank you its fookin obvious but for some people they need it spelt out i guess
We can say "fucking" in here as it's a forum for grown ups.

Mancini will certainly have the biggest say and Khaldoon has also stated there will be additions to our squad. The lack of news just shows that we conduct ourselves very much in private these days.
