I hope we can get both to resign. Like I've said previously de rossi would be nice, but only if the right deal can be done. He would give us extra CL pedigree.

Not really bothered about new players now, just hope we get Silva and NDJ to re-sign. Not seen much of DDR, is he that much better than Nige? By all reports he would cost £35M and surely he would want more than NDJ is asking for. With our percieved more prudent approach this summer this doesn't make much sense.

Like I said I haven’t really seen De Rossi play that often and yes he looks a really good player when I have but I have seen De Jong play (a lot) and in my opinion he is the best ball winning player in the world, he rarely gives the ball away, is settled and seems to be a cornerstone of the good morale in the team (granted only based on club videos). It would take one hell of a player to break into our regular starting 11. I am not doubting DDR is that player just that I haven’t seen enough of him to make that opinion myself and asking fellow blues with more knowledge than myself of European football if he is £35M better than our Nige.

Want trying to be funny mate, but your best answer is from the manager, he values him that highly.

True enough and who ever Bobby brings in (or gets rid of) he has my total trust.
I should watch more football than just City so I could join in some of these debates on European players.
