I would say that he would walk if the window is not satisfactory to him rather than fuck up the season and get sacked. I strongly believe that Mancini is a man of principles. Anyway, when he got sacked by Inter and the case dragged on, he forfeited several million quid so that he could go back to management ( since his contract with Inter was not fully nullified unless the payout was settled ) and this was before City showed interest if i remember correctly.
