FWIW i think he is a player WE could sign this week and fits in with the Vieira, Pizzaro type signing that Mancini goes for.
He likes an experienced player who is a good trainer and role model for the younger players and also someone who can come on and help close a game out.

But Vieira and Pizarro didn't come in on monster wages, Kaka would be in line with our highest earners, he actually earns more than anyone at our club I believe. It'd be a vanity signing and I don't believe it at all.

I was just pointing out that it wouldn't surprise me given our recent record of going for players of this age and experience.

Modric will probably play a deep-lying role for Real Madrid like at Spurs so if it was Xabi Alonso we were allegedly signing it'd make more sense. Real have Benzema, Higuain, Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria, and Callejon competing for the front places so I don't see why they will change his position to replace Kaka.

If I had info like you I would just sit back, relax and let everyone apologise when it comes off, rather than being aggressive, like it seems you are, and trying to constantly back yourself up.
