Rammy you have been an absolute Star on the Forum keeping these threads ticking along nicely with decent reviews and insight and you have managed it all on next to nothing actually ever hapenning.

I just got off the phone with a contact called Khaldoon who works at the club and apparently there'll be no signings other than Nastasic and Iniesta.

When he first arrived on the scene he looked to have such a bright future ahead of him, he has so much talent. He just wasn't ever able to properly kick start his career by winning that first important major.

The clue was in the whispers bit, and I give up trying to second guess who the fuck we are signing, way things are going we might get Mr Happy and Mr Grumpy seeing as we have signed a Mr Nasty, woke this thread up again though!!!!! :-)

I hope not, the money being talked about over-prices him quite a bit.

You would expect him to be a Spain regular for that money or at least a noticible sub.

Desperation sigining if it goes through in my opinion.

The Portuguese league is not a great league to judge defensive midifielders if you ask me, there are too many fairies running about in that league. We just have to be carefull, not forgetting Portuguese teams are well known to fleece the buying clubs.

Right, been out most of the day and I appreciate it's a pain when people ask for updates.

However I'll start by providing the list of players and my guess at the updates, any amends would be most appreciated...

Nastasic - fee agreed, no official confirmation from either side, just journos tweeting?

Walcott - not happening

Sinclair - no news

De Rossi - flight tracking

Rooney - fat wanker at home eating pie and chips

Maicon - rumours of agreeing terms but nothing official, rumours of NDJ swap?

RSC - maybe going to malaga?

Javi Garcia - I've no idea on this one.

QPR have just made their 9th signing of the summer tonight. We could be playing a whole new different team to the one a few months ago, gotta hand it to Sparky though he did say whilst he's manager you won't find QPR in a last game relegation battle again. Maybe he meant they'd be relegated by Easter instead.

Would love DDR and Agger but those boats have sailed imo.

Would sell Balo and Dzeko to replace with Falcoa at drop of hat and if the 40m bid for Balo was real I'm dismayed, 40m euro for Balo, 18m for Dzeko from Juventus equals Falcoa plus agents fee and we then have Falcoa, Aguero, Tevez and Guidetti. That would be eye watering.

Happy with what we have aslong as we get a good CM in before window shuts, I expect Sinclair. If no CB then save money and go all in next year for Hummels.
