I like flapping.
My only regret, and I'm sure most at City will probably agree in hindsight, is that we missed out on Hazard. For the sake of an extra few mil in agent's fess we should have wrapped that one up when we had the chance. Shame.
will cost chelsea 90 million pounds over 5 years though , granted he`s started well but just dont think we were prepared to offer him wages on par with tevez and yaya ..chelsea are paying him similar to torres , lampard and terry , it was a big risk for an unproven 21 year old although things are going well for them at the moment time will tell.
Hazard's looked very good so far, but up against not very much. He didn't look special in the Charity Shield against us, did he.
I don't understand Chelsea's transfer policy though, and overall, I don't think they've bought well for 2 years.
Will Torres return to his best? Will Hazard keep it up for more than half a season?
Mata is lightweight, and they have Oscar, Moses and Marin (Is it?) who are all similar nippy players at geat cost.
Meanwhile they have fading Czech, Terry and Lampard, and an inadequate Luiz, with a no better than steady Cahill to make up the spine. They got away with it last year, but, I can't see that happening again.
I won't believe in any Chelsea renaissance until they've come up against some of the bigger boys.
Also, I agree with Fatbloke 100%.
