Well for a start this managed to miss out the £30M United spent on Ferdinand because he signed in 2002. And their figures have been helped by the £80M they got for Ronaldo.

They are gross figures mate so the Ronaldo sale has nothing to do with them

They are gross figures mate so the Ronaldo sale has nothing to do with them

You also have to take into account inflation, football players were far cheaper to buy 2003-06 than in recent times.

Losing De Jong and Johnson to replace with relatively unproven players isn't pleasing. Nastasic I know little of but hope he'd mustard.

Please don't class me as ungrateful but I believe a World Class CM is a must. Without Yaya we are fucked. Be it ACON or injury. We must have somebody that compliments him but also offers cover for him. I hope and pray the board think alike.

Don't worry about not seeing Witsel either, just know he is a quality player who's big in stature at 6'1. Can play football and links up play adeptly. Kompany rates him highly btw.

I'd take Fellaini in a heartbeat.

Everton for the first time in a while are keeping their best 11 together and have sold Rodwell to bring in Pienaar and Miralles. They will keep for another year imo and then sell.

I'd say his price would be about that figure, maybe a £30mill offer even.

For me this whole window was about shifting unwanted players. We only really have Kolo on the books who is unfancied (RSC to Malaga/Betis). If he stays then there isn't a worry really.

I hope we seal the players mentioned today and sit back tomorrow and target the man in midfield. Use the kitty on him. If we did get DDR I would genuinely be as excited as I was when we signed Aguero. I simply feel he would finish us as a team and that we would be perfect. Europe would shake...
