AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has confirmed his intention to resurrect the club's bid to sign Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez this summer.

The Rossoneri came close to landing the Argentine during the January transfer window, agreeing personal terms with the player only to fail to agree a transfer fee with his English employers.

Galliani speculated at the time that the opportunity to acquire Tevez - who was in dispute with City at the time - was unlikely to arise again, but he has now revealed that he is as determined as ever to make it happen.

"I want Tevez," the 67-year-old Monza native told Corriere dello Sport. "We will do everything to get him."

Galliani is such a wide ****.

Rags apparently trying to raid Dortmund for Hummels, Kagawa and Lewandowski.

All three confirmed that they are not satisfied with wages offered by Dortmund,

We can not let them get Hummels. He'd be the perfect partner for Kompany but I'd hate it if Mancini had to break up the Lescott-Kompany partnership. Hummels is on another level to Lescott though.

Independent says...

- Want to get our summer deals done quickly to avoid the same headaches as last summer.
- Want to get the Hazard deal done if we can overcome the personal terms problem but our league win puts us in a stronger position.
- Van Persie is our striker of choice with some optimism about getting him but if we can't Cavani is the backup choice.
- Marwood is lukewarm on the idea of signing Cavani which could cause more friction with Mancini. Marwood seems to love the tried and tested Premier League signing.
- Martinez and Lavezzi still on the radar but Lavezzi looks Inter bound.
- Dzeko and Balotelli up for sale if we can get good offers.
- Only one offer for Adebayor so far, from Spurs, but optimism we can sell him.
- The picture for De Jong "has brightened" and Mancini is relaxed about his contract situation.

our entire current squad right now are as tried and tested PL players and champions. Get with the Khaldoon programme, Brian, Europe is next. And for that, it's got to be Cavani or Falcao.

I agree, we should go with Cavani/Falcao over RVP even if its just for the age difference. Would feel a lot happier with a 25/26 year old striker from another league than a 29 year old with premier league experience.
