Unless we're also in for RVP or a similar type player I don't see Dzeko being offloaded if Bale comes in. Bale's no1 strength are his sensational crosses from the left, mainly met by a powerful centre forward. Our team's prime attacking strength is Nasri, Silva & Tevez working space to put Aguero through. Aguero will have a tough time if he's having to out header premier leauge centre backs to get his goals, so we must have another option to play up front be it Dzeko or Van Persie.

Bale and Hazard.

The equivalent of dropping the atom bomb on football world me thinks.

Well, maybe somewhere between 10 and 20 mil... ;-)

Surely even with his excessive salary we'd get 15mil for Ade, add that to 15mil for AJ?

I'd be surprised if we didn't get interest from other clubs at those kind of figures so if Levi plays hardball, as he will, then fuck him.

I read that our owner is actually pleased with our progress so far (winning the League title would be the cherry on top) , so I think he's ready to loosen the purse-strings once again to launch another challenge on the Champions League, FFP or not..
It would be mind-boggling if we do get Bale AND Hazard, but then are we still going to go for RVP, I hope not..

I don't see the need to sign both Hazard and Bale personally. Wouldn't complain but we could use Hazard as a winger when need be and we could also sign someone like Hoilett or Farfan for free and save us £30million+ for the other winger. Farfan could be our version of Valencia, a low profile signing who could have a great impact on our team. He has 8 assists in 18 league starts for Schalke this season. Bale has 9 assists in 34 league starts. We seem drawn to the high profile signings all the time though.
