Cavani has had a good season, not sure what GreekBlue is talking about? Napoli are in horrible form of late, haven't won any of their last six games, in which he has scored three goals. When a team is so poor as a whole even the best players like Cavani and Lavezzi won't look at their best but over the entire season Cavani has again been good. He's scored plenty in the league and plenty in Europe (as we found out). I can understand the arguments against him coming and he isn't my #1 striker choice either, but he would be a better fit than Dzeko. His performances against us and Milan (when he scored a hattrick) show he is a top quality striker.

I'd prefer someone a bit more technical.

If we sell Tevez, we don't even have to replace him with a striker.

I could see us going for a versatile, mobile forward like Hazard that can:

1. pick out a pass and combine well.
2. thrive in our fluid system...swapping positions but competent in all of them.
3. score.

And honestly, Tevez isn't even a "real" striker.
