Not really, I think we'll get a goalscorer, but to your point ,the more the goals are spread around the whole squad the less susceptible you are to relying on one players fitness or form.
It lessens the pressure on rest, their game has a lot more comfort and composure knowing their service won't go to waste, or that they themselves might contribute or have a moment that helps the team. I think everyone in the team currently knows they have to work extra hard because of the lack of a natural 9. Put it that way.

To be fair any buying club would want to make sure his exit clause is higher so they're secure from the player going away. We on the other hand would not mind letting him go if he gives us 5/6 good years, and things change a lot in football so who knows if he even wants to leave then. I reckon they know that exiting La Liga will be tougher and he will likely have to stay there for a fair while.
If he were to end up at Barcelona or Real Madrid now, he knows that he would be staying there for a very long time because it would be weird to leave La Liga for the PL after 5 years there and unless context changes, only PSG could also welcome him, but that’s a cemetery, it’s only for after a decade. Unless of course he moved from Barcelona to Madrid or vice versa. Career wise, the best thing he can do is take advantage of the PL momentum now, see where it is in five years and decide if it makes more sense to move or stay.

I hear you, but as I said, I genuinely believe we've been playing out of our skin, I don't know if we can keep these levels for all competitions over a whole season, a run of form is great, but even last season, we saw the dip in form towards the end (although you could say it helped that run secured the title). It's all good, add to the fact in cup competitions, we need a goal scoring outlet, just so if, say the players aren't on 100%, an individual moment can bail us out. Lots of top sides have that trait, I love our current form and the fact we're amongst top scorers, doing great and goals are being shared across squad, but I do think it's unsustainable. Hence why we are looking to replace Kun's 25-30 goals average per season, because we'll need that ultimately, imo.
All we need to look at is our games against Tuchel’s Chelsea, the ones we won (and how we barely won) and the ones we lost

Much as I would love Haaland to join us it would mean a change of style and an awful lot of baggage, thinking about it probably getting a 'B' list forward would be a better option. We'd be able to tie the deal up reasonably easily (hopefully) and rather than being a focal point and change of game plan would give us another option that we patently don't have at the moment.

Is Delap the option? Maybe if he'd not been on the sicklist all season we'd know more but signing a player for example someone of the level of Toney from Brentford (not saying he'd be the one) would make us more clinical especially in tight games with 30 mins or so to go.

Those or the game against PSG in between Chelsea and Liverpool, which would've been a slaughter had we a proper 9. I know it's all perspective end of day, but looking at it all recently I'm even more so convinced that we need a guaranteed goalscorer and regardless of how good a Joao Felix, Nunez, whatever name linked could be, it's more about guaranteed goals than a prospect when it comes to summer window. Hence why I think our interest in Kane hasn't dulled either, if the reports are true obviously.

Please look around and see where the club is. We’re not ending up with a B-list forward. It’s likely we go without signing one (again) than going down the list. Also I’m curious about what the “Haaland baggage” is? The so-called “circus” that people talk here when absolutely nothing concrete happened except entirely made up stories from the Spanish media?

I don’t think Kane’s leaving Tottenham at this point, but if I have a suspicion that if he were to leave next summer, he would end up at United…

Looks like it but can't say with their situation as a club right now, no one knows what incomings or exits they'd have, all would depend on their manager choice I reckon. I might be in the minority where I feel Kane would still do a job for us for 3-4 years at the very least and that we will probably go in for him again in summer (or Lewa if he somehow doesn't renew, highly unlikely still). Then an Alvarez or any other prospect takes it from there, after he goes. Only Haaland changes that, would be securing our future for many more years.
