if mino is a good agent (and he is very good), then nothing will be settled in january, and we will come out of the meeting feeling like he's trying to "play" us (because he is), thinking that erling is leaning towards madrid. he will do the exact same with madrid, and they'll think he's leaning towards us. we should be ready for this and play his game.

It depends.

If Mino is a good agent, and Erling has expressly stated his desire to play for City, then he’ll settle a great deal for his client in January for a move to City.

Good agents don’t dictate the core outcomes, that’s on the player. Good agents execute the desired outcomes with as much money as possible.

Exactly. If Haaland wanted to come here, and City would sign another striker because Mino gave us hints he would rather go to Real Madrid, he would be a terrible agent and would most likely be sacked immediately.

would we push for a january move? could be a game changer if the dippers lose salah and mane and we sign haaland?
