The club with the best golf courses next to it will be Bale’s next club, if he has one.

I tried to argue getting Bale in on loan a couple of years back and got vilified for it.

I guess what happens with Wales will determine whether he carries on or not.

Ok this is pretty simple, if we sign a player for £X amount at some point we need to sell a player for £X amount to balance things. If all players start leaving on free’s that income is gone whilst players coming on free’s will want huge signing on fee’s. Therefore the books won’t balance, it’s simple math.

Or clubs realise that they might/will probably lose the player for free and have already taken that into account in their calculations of wage/sign on fee when agreeing the contract
