It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Sterling and Saka is an odd comparison. They use different feet. They both are speedy, but in very different ways. Saka is a very conventional winger on either side, and Sterling is a rather unorthodox forward. They both get goals and assists in very different ways too.

Saka is more similar to Foden than he is to Sterling.

Mate honestly I would take peoples opinions on opposition players on here
with a pinch of salt. Last summer half the forum didn’t rate Kane so it’s no surprise saka isn’t highly rated tbh.
True story. I've seen players slated like no other because they were young/from an "inferior league"/or weren't "world class." And a season or two later, et voila, the same lot is clamoring for them.

Similar to Rag fans who forget they have not finished above City in the league for 10 years.

That’s because the media talk United up as if they are relevant even when they aren’t - remember all those stories last year after the beat Leeds in the first game - “top of the league”, “United could be title favourites “etc when no one else had played…. The media do a great job of ignoring the fact that the team who turned out the most expensive 11 in PL history finished 35 - yes thirty-five points behind us….

We have signed Haaland this summer. I couldn’t care less if we signed no one else ha!

Posted that just before as well mate! Getting not only a striker but the big Viking is MASSIVE (ahem) for us and besides a DM anything else is a bonus but getting Haaland has truly settled me down for next season.

They are a way from being done, irrespective of the players' own preferences.
Catching up from overnight but wow this is weird. Idiots Samuel pain and Josh Wilson said it was done days / weeks ago. ITS TIME. ON THE WAY.

sorry for whoever on this forum owns those accounts.
