His performance in the cup tie was as woeful as his performance in the league was wonderful. The real Salisu probably lies somewhere in between.Yep Salisu had the customary ‘MOM display against City’ but actually pretty average.
Thank god we didn't. A defender who can't play football and has spent the last 5 years defending deep on the edge of his own box. Can you imagine him keeping a high line in our team, receiving the ball under pressure from Ederson and passing through the lines? It would be a car crash.it’s a shame because Tarkowski on a free would of been a great option for 4th choice centre back
The few times I saw him play, he made as many mistakes as his partners. If not moreYou have to remember playing for someone like saints means you’re centre back partner often makes mistakes. Lyanco, Stephens, Bednerak all not great players and probably expose a player like Salisu. His stock is very high around these parts will be interesting to see what all the saints fans have to say about this move.
Never heard of this guy, is he reliable?
Its a lot easier to defend with 10 men behind the ball in the league when your 1-0 upHis performance in the cup tie was as woeful as his performance in the league was wonderful. The real Salisu probably lies somewhere in between.

Haha. Belting!Never felt like Pete the Badge really connected with us in the same way as Tits Out Jackie.
No player signs to become "4th choice". Any player (except Scott Carson maybe) who is happy to do that shouldn't be joining our club.Would be a great Ake replacement as 4th choice CB. Left footed, fast & strong. Only 23 years old so plenty of room for improvement, while already being on a decent level. He already has the upside (as he showed in a brilliant performance against us), just needs to be a bit more consistent, but in a better team and with Pep as his manager I would expect him to improve in that part. Probably willing to accept limited minutes as well, and can play LB if needed. With Ake out and Salisu in, we would get a replacement of similar quality, with the potential to become better. Would probably just prefer to keep Ake if he wants to stay since he has already proven to be a great option in that role who fits well in the group, but if he wants to leave, this is the kind of player we should aim for.

I disagree various reasons someone would,No player signs to become "4th choice". Any player (except Scott Carson maybe) who is happy to do that shouldn't be joining our club.
