Too bad italian based player like him will very unlikely to leave Serie A, sure there some few cases. But most of them rather stay in Italian League.

i'd be worried about signing a player called Savic, after a year of being shit they leave, sign for athletico madrid and turn into a **** that thinks they're a hardman

with regards to this Savic (Sergej Milinković-Savić), he has been linked with english clubs for years and years but no one has taken a punt on him which makes me wonder why ?

You can forget the name right there because he’s not a target nor has been linked or is good enough. Nor is he playing at the position City are looking for a replacement at ;)

I don't see much nice debate. Just a lot of huffing and puffing for the sake of it. I also think it's pretty unfortunate that so many people "debate" in bad faith. Phillips is at the very least, a very good PL player. Yet listening to posters like you and one or two others you'd think he's barely championship level.

Way of the world I guess. People can only argue from polarised positions these days.

I utterly agree with all this, I do wonder what a lot on here would have said about kompany & Zabaleta transfers if they were to happening today???
I think I’m in the minority here as I want us to sign Phillips, he has good technical skills & reading of the game and although I accept I’m unsure what level he can achieve he has real heart and passion!
I think if he signs for us he’ll stay for the rest of his career, will always give us 100% and be a player who gets the club, respects the club, gives his all and one of those stakes around whom you build, who allows others to thrive.
I honestly believe in time he will be a really massive fan favourite.
I accept others undoubtably will see things differently and that’s ok but if he does sign I equally know we’ll all get behind him as we’re that kinda fan base!!!

You can wonder all you want but he's class...top notch attacking mid...

Stop...he's not a target and is not a need but please don't say he's not good enough because he's plenty good enough...name me 5 AMs in the Prem who are better...KDB, then...do you consider Bernardo to be an AM?...He's every bit as good as Mount and better than Thiago Silva...much better than Bruno...

Is he a defender or a midfielder?
Why’s his forehead so big?
Why’s he being interviewed down the side of a swimming baths?
