It could be that FDJ is not played to his strengths but I don’t watch enough of him or Barca to comment.It's not even comparable.
I've seen plenty of him at Barca, he's a good player. But he's not close to Bernardo's level. If we wanted this deal it’d be done already.
Put it this way, Kevin is injury prone. When Kevin has gotten injured in 2 major title challenges, who's the player that's carried our midfield? It's Bernardo, he's softened the blow of losing Kevin. Are you telling me if that happens again you'd be confident in Frenkie de Jong being able to replicate what Bernardo did for us offensively and defensively?

It's not though.Shocking deal for us IF it was to happen.
IF, Bernardo does want to go, FDJ is a top class replacement, young and incredible potential to improve.
I don't want Bernardo to leave but completely understand the reasons he wants to leave and live far nearer home.
Also IF FDJ does come to us, it's another huge blow to the rags, FDJ going there is a big signing and huge upgrade for them.
