It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

NO it is not.
Pep hates the media with a vengeance and deliberately tells them, when asked, "I know fuck all and its in the hands of Txiki/Soriano and Khaldoon as to where we are at".
Its called bull shitting and something Pep is very good at doing with the media, so he doesn`t have to answer to stupid questions.
Do you honestly believe that the hierarchy dont give Pep regular updates ? He fully knows where they are at with transfers, so I can only assume you are very gullible.
this is ridiculous and delusion to believe pep lies all the time every single time to the media. you seem confused about reading comprehension, again bringing up things unrelated to what I am saying and putting words in my mouth.

People who think Palmer is anywhere near Sterling's level are in for a nasty shock.

No disrepect to Palmer, I like him. Will be a tidy player for us if he stays.

Sterling is one the best and most prolific players we've ever had. Adds a dynamic to our attack that we need to keep. If he leaves, another pace-burning winger who can go high and wide must be brought in, for me. Letting Jesus, Sane, and Sterling go with no true replacement would be genuine mismanagement in my opinion.

Your right about Sterling but don’t play down Palmer who has shown Everytime he is picked he has it ..

I am saying that if ONLY jesus leaves, we don't need another player, because alvarez is replacing him. How's that deluded?

Well That is not what you were saying.

It is the Haaland is replacing Torres, and Haaland not being brought in as a striker of Aguero's ilk. We were a striker short last season, it was a one off. It has been fixed. Haaland wasn't brought in to replace Jesus, or Torres, or Palmer. He was brought in to fill a gaping obvious hole we chose to live with for a year.

What you are saying above I don't really entirely desagree with. I have said before that Jesus leaving, is the one thing that May be absorbed within the team without signing a replacement. IF Alvarez hits the ground running And Palmer has a breakthrough. Too many ifs that I don't think Pep would entertain, but I also can see it happening.

Sterling, if he were to leave though will be replaces, I can't see how anyone can contemplate otherwise. I think he will see his contract out myself.

I really like Palmer but he’s just over a long injury, no one knows how that will effect him but to think he’s ready to replace Sterling smacks of the old Ibe is a better player from 2015. We can’t afford to go into next season without replacing Sterling.

Break the Internet, bigger than Joao Felix imo it can only be Neymar or Salah don't really think there's a player other than Mbappe (obviously not happening) that'd blow my mind. Don't see Pep wanting an ego like Neymar and no chance we get Salah.

Fuck knows lol
I think this supposed "break the internet" signing has vanished into the ether to be honest
