Yeah I don't think we will - despite it being a useful option. Could mean opportunities for Borges/Mebude if Pep does want variety though.
i do feel like hes wanting control more. I dont think thats the reason we wouldnt sign a winger neither. I think in relation to this article they have a point in terms of the sane sterling stuff wouldnt work. But that also doesnt mean guardiola wouldnt want a different type of option on the wing. Peps about control but i also agree with him in the sence that 100 point season there was generally more space for sane and sterling to go to unlike now where we majority of the time play 10 man blocks.
i also wouldnt trust much what the athletic says personally. we seem to plan ahead of time and with mahrezs age, foden eventually going into midfield ect i would assume weve got plans.
i dont think those two will be in the city team for a few years yet borges i think will end up at another club. isnt he out of contract soon and sure peps got an issue with his agent recently. (sure i read that somewhere)

Ive already written him off,he should have been on the bench last season and that speaks volumes about his future here.

Problem is, the last few seasons, we are cursed with injuries to our CB’s. I have never known a team with so many injuries to their main CB’s. Just unlucky or poor fitness coaching playing some part
There's rapid players who are brilliant in tight spaces, surely. They're just very expensive but pricey for a reason.
lol no probs, that performance and the derby has me flustered and fired up!!

buy a fast paced overlapping LB or we are winning nothing this season. we have no pace to compensate our midfield deficiency.

We're very top heavy in central defence and wide players, but very little else. Such an unbalanced squad we have
i do think there is a few issues with our squad. im not going to over panic but it wouldnt be suprising if there is a bit of a overall in the summer. i feel like its the end of a natural era for some of our players.
i think the outgoings will be gundo, bernie and a cb.
i also think if were going full in on a lb and its an expensive lb i can see cancelo being moved on (although id prefer him to stay) i just dont think hes a character who would like to be rotating and on the bench at points.
i think the incomings will be a lb, bellingham and a winger.
it wouldnt also suprise me if someone like laporte ends up going (although i hope he doesnt) and ake and we fetch in another cb. esepcially with laporte maybe wanting to raise kid in spain.
i have a sneaky suspicion that its going to be a 17/18 type window especially with us making a profit this previous summer and also a few big names going.

Bernardo, gundo, kalvin, rodri, DeBruyne...how many midfielders do you want to not play the ball forward?
They can't take both on loan and its probably not much more expensive to buy them than to to loan them.
They seem happy enough with the 4 they bought from us this season.
