Maddison is better than the current Bernardo , gundogan and dare I dare i say it current form KDB

This logic is baffling.

James Ward-Prowse is the best free-kick taker in the world and Maddison's record is just 2% below.
Maddison is miles better outside of set pieces. But his free-kick taking is elite, far better than KDB, Mahrez or Gündogan.

I never said free-kick taking makes you world class. But his free-kick taking is world class.

Sweet mother of Jesus. And would you have spouted such rubbish before we were linked to Maddison? No, you wouldn't have done. There's not a single poster on this forum that would have advocated signing James fucking Maddison before today. That you've just said he's better than all those aforementioned players, especially kev, is an insult. He isn't fit to lace any of their laces, even in their worst form.

It would be Phillips all over again. Isn't good enough for us, simple as that.

Maddison has great ball-control skills, average pace but OK for a midfielder, defensively I think he is OK, can help during the build-up, can shoot from the distance, takes free-kicks, so great player in overall..

Bellingham is like a generational talent and what I like more about him is his ability to play number 6 position as well if needed.. You can't play Maddison there, but Bellingham could, like Gundo does sometimes..

So, if I had to choose Bellingham, of course, but considering we have Phillips and he should be that player who replaces Rodri there if needed, Maddison will be a great addition as well for that LCM position..

ya compare what the likes of KDB, modric, kroos even gundo at dortmund. he is not even close to those levels of those players. no way you can tell me he is 100 mil. we are basically paying in hope of future potential. same thing we did with grealish.
 
Top 'other' 6 club starter and City want him as a rotation player as well as a marquee WC player. no problem with it

Why didn't we sign Haaland in 2019 when he moved to Dortmund for £20m??
Why didn't Liverpool sign Haaland last summer, or United, or Chelsea, or Madrid, or Bayern?

Answer is the player CHOSE A DIFFERENT PATH, this isn't fucking FIFA. Not every player wants to sign for your club.
 
Also let's consider the fact that he was one of the founders of the US, wrote amendments, etc.
