it’s the nature of the situation we are in unfortunately- I don’t like it but no one’s going to pay top dollar for a guy they can get for free in 12 months and I’m surprised the player is welcoming the move - he’d get a shed load more cash next summer.
Then we just dont sell.
Whooptido they can get him for free next year. So can Real. So can Barca. BSG. Bayern. He could also extenf over the course of the year. They can get him now and have him for a whole season, and that had value.
And us not having to replace him at the same time as 2 new forwards are bedding into the team and Palmer may get more than 3 minutes has value to us too.
It will take over 50m for any movement to even be a consideration. Otherwise, no point.
Yeh just realised he’s 3 years younger. He’s been miles better than raz over the past two seasons though and raz is in the last year as well. Anything over 45m which people are demanding just isn’t going to happenRaz is years younger
