It just indicates that City are not actively looking to move Ake on (which we knew), but he's not so indispensable that a large offer wouldn't turn the club's head (which we also knew).

People getting worked up over nothing. We will get a decent price for ake if he does decide to leave and we will sign a replacement. Trust the club to get this right. In my opinion we don't need a sterling replacement. We are blessed to have many attackers who can play in a variety of roles and perform at a high level if need be.

It very clearly says "city will not entertain any bid below £50m" which is new and good.
