They play the exact same style. And Mahrez is just better. What's the benefit from starting Palmer? There is no tactical change from Palmer to Mahrez like there would be with Sterling/Jesus. It gives us less tactical flexibility.How is he an obstacle? Palmer will be eased in to the team the same way Foden has and if he's good enough, he'll be a regular just as Mahrez' time at the club is coming to an end. It's literally an ideal scenario.

Decent player in there and I think he would be classed as club trained, plus he's available on a free.
