It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Feel like we should be getting in a demichelis type as fourth coice. One who has ultimately "been there" at the highest level but needs his game time managed as he's older. A wise head who can do it reliably when needed but happy in their twilight. Otherwise you are doing a disservice to the young player and they will ultimately want away before they stagnate in their prime.

I don't have suggestions, but I'm not paid handsomely to watch football.

Mats Hummels
Raúl Albiol
Iñigo Martinez
Nacho Fernandez
Jerôme Boateng
Simon Kjær
Gerard Pique
Leonardo Bonucci
Francesco Acerbi

These would be the players that fit your criteria on the market. I’m not convinced that’s the way to go. 22-25 year old reliable (possibly PL proven) player for a reasonable fee like Aké would be ideal. Salisu seems to fit the bill.
