If we can sign a replacement for Ake then great but if not, we'll just have to hope that Dias, Laporte and Stones stay injury free. Let's not forget that one of them will be sitting on the bench.

All of those are "we've got no other viable option so this is what we will have to do" solutions not a "this guy can play 20-30 times a season for us at CB" option which is what 4th choice is.We have mbette, walker, rodri can all play there if needed.

This would be very good news..Fwiw (which is probably very little), I’m hearing different to Pol regarding City going after Cucurella. Just been told we’re moving for him now Sterling is complete and not waiting to see what transpires with Ake.
