It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

so maybe Ake not their only option ?

I wouldn't mind anyway - happy if Ake stays

There's no pressure or reason to sell Ake...its just a matter of IF he wants a move to Chelsea how much do we ask for and who do we get to replace him...otherwise he stays and we're good at CB...now let's go and get Cucurella...

felt inevitable unfortunately

He has to leave (loan or perm) and go play proper mens football. Hes clearly too good for u23 level but he wont get any better without having to go and play and experience it.

Strikers just feel different to other positions. Its all instinct and fine margins. He wont properly learn what does or doesnt work or what he can do or needs to work on in training (despite how good our players are).

Midfielders or defenders can get by with minutes here and there and slow introductions. Strikers need goals and you only get goals with prolonged minutes.

Looking at the official Sterling announcement by Chelsea, impressive how his hair has grown a good 3 inches since his last photos in a Chelsea kit yesterday and the day before. For most people that would take a few months, but Raz manages it in less than 48 hours.
