think its worth noting that the Brighton technical director (David Weir) has talked about the importance of letting players go on to progress their career.

For me that is a big statement esp with the noise around Cucurella to us and connected with the info from TH saying a second bid would go in today...sounds like the 2 clubs are getting closer to an agreement.

Squeaky bum time, Simon, I believe he’s made his intentions clear and now the damage control is perpetuated by the ‘suits’…

Told early weekend it would be done before charity shield, although with a caveat a player was attached, that seems quiet so straight dollar it is, player power always wins in the end, and this boy has form!

Building his last squad which even Helen Keller could see, if not speak (: this points towards a potential decade for me, which would of been beyond our wildest dreams in 2016; the core of our spine do this and he, imo, will be no different; it would cement the legacy and totally rubbish the idea that at the very top, it isn’t possible in the modern game…

If he can ride that narrative, we will be the most successful team in the modern era and it isn’t even debatable, his continued numbers 6 years in show no inkling of slowing down and his legacy, at ikkle city no less, will firmly put us alongside the great teams of the ages… a phenom
I have held the belief for a few years now that Pep not only gets us as a club and fan base but also realises what he can achieve at this club and how we, as fans, feel about him.

At Barca, which is clearly his first love, he achieved greatness and was rightfully idolised, but the pressure to deliver was not only enormous but necessary for the love of the Barca fans, when he went to Bayern the pressure was again, enormous, but this time he didn't have the same adulation as at Barca so when he "failed" in the CL there was no place to hide,

Fast forward to him joining God's own and all of a sudden he was in a place where he has the time to create a dynasty and more importantly the lack of expectation from a fanbase who had been starved of success for so many years and didn't have the same arrogant demands as at his previous clubs.

We feel we are blessed by Pep, whereas elsewhere he had to achieve or be deemed a failure.

Maybe that will change with time but for the moment Blues, watch it, drink it in and appreciate what we have, as we have been doing all along.

Caveat: Obviously he is a bald fraud but I'm having the best time.

Double caveat: Nothing would have been achieved without our incredible owner.

but what about neymar ‘s sis?

He has to know by now he will never ever get a job as good as City.

I think he'll just start doing international teams since they will give him more time off inbetween things. He's always said he wants to do the World Cup, Copa America, Euros etc.

I have a feeling he's waiting on the England or Spain jobs. Post World Cup it would make sense.

You just know the English press would be all up for it if it hurt City.
