I’d happily pay 50 mil for any of them. They are incredible.I doubt they’d get half of that for either of them now.

It depends on the Spanish clubs 1 year left on both contracts if a certain two Spanish clubs offer a big fee for both then I see them going.
Xavi is a huge fan of Sterling I can see them going for him if they can’t renew Dembele, Xavi has called Sterling one of the best wingers in the world.
Perez will go all out for Mahrez if Mbappe doesn’t join. There’s been multiple different links since January about Madrid and Mahrez.
If Mahrez and Sterling had multiple years left id say we wouldn’t let them leave but they’ve only got a year , then they can leave for free
I thought we already had four…Just a reminder that having 2 players already signed on May 20th is fantastic and we don't actually need to have every signing done before the season even ended, that has never been the case in any transfer window. give it time :)
If they fail to get mbappe one of raz/ mahrez
Will prefer they get salah
both contract expire the same time.Yeah can't see them getting Mahrez when there's a free options on the market in Salah.
Salah isn't free until 2023.Yeah can't see them getting Mahrez when there's a free options on the market in Salah.
I wouldn't take anyone from Liverpool. Once they come off the Ventolin, they aren't half as good. Gini Wijnaldum ran around like a lunatic for five years at Liverpool but now he can't even get in the PSG team ahead of Ander Herrera and Idrissa Gueye.Mahrez to Madrid
Salah to City
Internet Meltdown
Surely a few inhalers thrown in would seal the dealI wouldn't take anyone from Liverpool. Once they come off the Ventolin, they aren't half as good. Yeah but Sterling won the double and the scousers won f....I wouldn't take anyone from Liverpool. Once they come off the Ventolin, they aren't half as good. Hi, was that directed at anyone?Perhaps someone like Phillips (as an example) is seen as the type of character that can come in and make a difference on that front, in a way that a young kid from Brazil or France may not be able to
Hi, was that directed at anyone?
What about a kid from Norway and a kid from Argentina? Those are okay?
Really good post. I must admit, I didn't think Ake was right for City and he struggled with his injuries and form in his first year. This season though, he's looked much more settled and his character and mentality show he's made of the right stuff. I'm sure I heard as many as nine of our players wanted him to be captain not long after he walked through the door at City.I think we can all be a bit guilty of looking at things in a very black and white, Football Manager way of "Player A is better than Player B so we should sign Player A."
There are a lot of intangibles though in real life. One thing I keep thinking about is the character and energy of the squad. This group has been through a lot. Four successive summers of losing legendary players/captains. Increasingly demoralizing Champions League exits. Arteta leaving, who was very popular with the players. One big character and (formerly) very popular squad member now persona non grata and in potentially very serious legal trouble.
Maybe the mood and energy in the camp is a big factor when we're looking for additions. Perhaps someone like Phillips (as an example) is seen as the type of character that can come in and make a difference on that front, in a way that a young kid from Brazil or France may not be able to
LMAO what a load of nonsenseHaaland was partially brought up in England and speaks fluent English, so I think that is a bit different, yeah
Come on, you are better than that.Hi, was that directed at anyone?
What about a kid from Norway and a kid from Argentina? Those are okay?
I don’t think he was talking about Tchouameni. But it could work for him as well.Come on, you are better than that.
Haaland has been setting records in the Bundesliga and CL and Alvarez has been playing for one of the biggest clubs in Argentina and scoring in the highest competition in the region.
Bit different to tchouameni who has been playing in the weakest french league in years.
