It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

There’s definitely a decent player in Havertz but the Chelsea move hasn’t worked, bar one f@€king goal, he moved to a club that is absolutely all over the place. They have brought in expensive players for Lampard, Tuchel and now Potter but don’t seem to have any coherent plan or style of play in mind.

A few years ago Havertz looked like the kind of player that we would bring in on the wing and then move back, like Bernardo. Not sure now after a few largely waste years at Chelsea.

€434million according to Transfermarkt, that excludes the €8million loan fee for Pablo Mari they spent in the winter window when he (Mikel) joined as I don't know if he had any input on that one.

Edit: that's outgoings only BTW.

Wow didn’t know it was that much!? Maybe it’s because no one in the media mention it? That spend is on a par to pep in his first 3 seasons oh and he won the league second season

What is this shit? Pep and city have all made these players better. The club won’t be held to ransom. Sulk away, new players will be purchased and you will be sold. All this talk of falling out comes up every few seasons depending on results.

We all know some players have stalled and don’t have the drive anyway. Rebuild on and it’s exciting. Pep looks tired listening to the moaning fuckers. He probably can’t wait to get rid. Any other club would have been through 1/2 managers and still trying to find excuses why the are not performing. Thank them for their service and we all move on holistically.
Bit of an over reaction players are people and will have their own individual reasons for moving or not moving, good luck to all that leave and thank you for their place in what we have achieved, and as the song says others will come and take their places in what comes next.
