New four-year extension for Rodri.

Will take him up to 2028.

Be signed off when he returns for pre-season.

West Ham very keen on Zinchenko.

Delap potential loan to Bournemouth if they come up.

Haaland's want to live close to their old house (don't know where Alfie was previously)
Surprised we are willing to do business with Bournemouth again tbh given the shabby treatment Morgan Rogers got there. A season wasted and millions off his transfer value after being ostracised by Parker

Southampton seems like the perfect destination IMO, given how Broja is quite similar to Delap, and he'll be going back to Chelsea in the summer leaving them with a massive hole in the side.

Brighton would kill for a player like Delap.

The problem is he doesn't play for City, and he's not in the shop window. There should be 10 clubs desperate to take him well above Bournemouth's level.

Honestly think if forest we’re to come up this season would try loan delap there even though murics loan there was absolutely dreadful. Was worried that Rodri might go on a free glad he will get a extension

Like him but isn’t he more of a wing back?

I've said for years he's the perfect Pep fullback because he can legitimately play LB, LW and CM to a very high level but he's a sick note. Gets 3 or 4 muscle injuries a year and it's probably going to get worse now he's approaching 30.

Would it almost be at the point where it will be announced before the deadline by us or Haaland? As the media questions will drive Pep mad soon enough.

I would expect the next imminent announcement to only be Haaland has officially informed Dortmund he will be leaving this summer, with no mention of his intended destination until the season is over, regardless of the ongoing claims.

Might that be a case of another Dortmund player not getting the best treatment from their apparently terrible medical team?

I don't know, probably not worth the gamble anyway but I do really like watching him.

I don't think a left back is high on the list of priorities. Top priority is securing The Viking, and then a diamond in the rough midfielder who won't mind alternating with Rodri. Left Back can wait, and I imagine Pep feels the same.

All that said, if Haaland were our only arrival this summer I'd still be ecstatic.

Everyone says we need a LB, and maybe we do, but it often feels like we need a RB for me. I'm fine with Cancelo on the left, but if Walker isn't being used, for whatever reason, Cancelo is shunted back over there again.

Agree with this. I'd like to see what Kabore could do. No harm in having him as a backup for Walker.

Rico Lewis (although very early) looks very promising in the academy at RB. Walker/Kabore/PepWeirdness/Lewis could be a very solid option.
