His wages a problem for other clubs?
Wages a problem for anyone if not out of contract.
Sterling loses nothing sitting tight for another year.

The list of clubs that have £50m and £300k pw wages to spend is a short one, and I’m not convinced any of them would use it on Sterling. I’m also not sure Sterling would forego the signing-on fee he could expect to receive in 12 months when available on a free.It's Sterling we need to shift.
Absolutely no issue with Jesus staying if he wants to.
For Sterling to leave, we might have to accept less than £50m in his final year.
Our only saving grace might be the upcoming World Cup, if the club was willing to call his bluff and tell him that if he refuses a move this summer, he will be sat in the stands. I just don’t see us doing that to someone who has overall been a success here.

He’s no where near like Jesus in terms of versatility and close to a 9 than anything. Sterling leaving also would surly mean we have our hands in the pot for a wide player? That amount of pace leaving without being backed up.We already have. Alvarez can play across the line.

I think Sterling’s pace is massively over exaggerated. Even when he’s put clean through on goal, he only ever gets the ball and cuts back anyway.
