Alvarez is a gamble. If he comes good it's a bonus.
Mahrez 31 and flaky.
Sterling patchy form for 2 years.
Grealish will never be a productive front 3 player and we will only see the best of him as an 8.

Our front 3 options are a weakness compared to the opposition imo.

I'd prefer Grealish at 8, but he currently leads the league this season in expected assists per 90 (ahead of KDB & Salah). He would have had double his assists if we weren't, bizarrely, the most profligate highest scoring team

I always wonder if fans of other teams look at City and think we're as bad as people on here seem to believe we are?

I think people here are critical of Cancelo, but a couple of weeks ago I saw an account with thousands of followers on Twitter (supporting another club) call him a “horrific footballer who had four good months”, so lol

The common refrain I hear is 'What do you need him for? You've already got..."

That said, if things go breasts skyward on Sunday, the very same will be saying "You need to get rid of him, he's no good!"

Do you have the comparison including all competitions played? I’d be curious to see. If you take a sequence of three UCL games for instance (Sporting home and both Atletico games), we only scored one goal. We went out of the Carabao Cup after scoring zero as well. It’s not like we never lacked goals

As a team we do. I'm talking about the front 3, specifically the wide players. It's a weakness and being clinical in those front 3 positions will make the difference in one off games in the champuons league.
