Anything is possible. City may well go abroad for a CM. If it were a choice between Phillips or Nunes from sporting I’d take Phillips. I would’ve loved Pogba because he’s far more talented than he gets credit for in England. I don’t fancy De Jong. He’s on 400k a week and the contract is long. Those aren’t the sorts of figures you pay a CM unless he’s KDB. And De Jong isn’t KDB.
I don’t know a lot about Tchou outside the hype but I know loads of people rate him highly.

Especially as next season kicks off in 78 days!!Indeed. Personally I’m on the Kalvin Phillips hype train. Think he’d be excellent in this City team. I love Cucurella too.
I’ve also got one eye waiting on next week’s press reports. Suspect we’ll see even more names thrown at the wall once the season is over.
Be nice if we could get everything done before July 1st for once.
