True enough. Chelsea aren't suddenly chancing their arm, they have received encouragement.

If I thought we would replace him, I'd let him go. But it seems like the plan is to just go with the forwards we have, which would be a huge mistake IMO.

Even so we waited a year to replace Sergio, Kompany, silva etc so wouldnt be surprised if we waited until next summer to replace Sterling

I’d be very surprised if we replaced Sterling this window if he does leave. We seem to prefer to wait for the right player rather than panic and rush to sign someone we arent 100% sure on.

Bet mahrez is delighted with the departures of Sterling and Jesus, he will get plenty of game time and improves his hand with contract negotiations.

Thing is, we expected Raheem to sit tight for his final year, but we know the people we want.
