Is it Giovanni Reyna and not Bellingham?

He has stated before he supports City so could be classed as a friend?

Branigan is an Irish name. Laura Branigan's parents were Irish American

Reyna's wiki says...."Reyna is of Portuguese and Argentine descent through his father, and of Irish-American descent through his mother."....and continues "He was named after his father's former Rangers teammate Giovanni van Bronckhorst"

In addition he was born in Sunderland...classed as home-grown player, despite having lived most of his life out of the country?

'Home grown' is a misnomer and isn't based on place of birth. It's actually 'Association trained', so he won't qualify as AT in England unless he's played 36 months at an English (or Welsh) club before he's 21

He did play for some of our very young sides as a kid, a contemporary of Phil I think. Played in a kids game v Barca iirc that was posted on here once and that City won by a big margin
