It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

wouldn't say bad, but think city can do better like the 22 yr old French kid from Monaco and Bellingham next year.
Would prefer the same. Jude and Tchouaméni are monsters , these two boys are beasts and city need to make such statement signing, young , dynamic world beaters!!!
These boys would boss the opposition for many years to come. It's about time city signed ultra dynamic players, am tired of seeing slow, lathergic players that are too slow to track back, too slow to react, to run or even tackle!

Jeez you wouldn't think we're top of the league reading the last sentence!

Anybody with an understanding of football would see he's doing a ton of work that is positive and it's well known that he probably would have several more assists if we had a finisher in the team. As I said, he didn't score or assist a ton at Villa and he was their main player, so what chance did he have joining our team where there are several players who are scoring and assisting.
I admire that you’re sticking up for a city player, but that’s not true.. yet. He hasn’t done a ton of positive work, in fact I’d say that he’s only really shown half of what he’s capable of in rare glimpses, and Wednesday night was one of those times.

I have no doubt that next season we’ll see a different Jack, one that feels less pressure due to the ridiculous price tag. He needs a run of games, and the confidence to run at people like he did on Wednesday. When everything clicks for him he’ll be a world beater imo. But yes, this season has been a disappointment, and no he hasn’t given us much to write home about so far.

Was under the impression that he's nailed on to Madrid
A few reliable Madrid sources have said that he won’t come to them in the Summer and will most likely move the Premier League. We haven’t been linked with him much but we definitely should be looking at him.

He would and will be for whoever gets him but not a chance this summer, FFP, Haaland and a LB all come before the 17yr old Jude Bellingham.

I think a midfielder is higher on the priority list.

We have seen over the last few weeks how understaffed we are after taking bruises against atletico and limping on until Madrid where kdb looked knackered and gundogan looks like his back injury isn't going away. Those two's fitness is a real concern, no matter how good kdb is. Bernardo wanted away last summer, but hopefully he signs a new deal. We also need cover for rodri as fernandinho is off.

As it stands, left back is covered reasonably well though not ideally. I would 100% be after a left back,. It only once haaland and midfield reinforcements are sorted.

A CM is as essential as Haaland, our midfield is ageing and slow, it needs fresh legs, Bellingham is ideal but will cost an absolute fortune, maybe even a world record fee, that's not happening for us this summer.

FDJ could be very possible, and if Sterling is involved in a straight swop, it may well suit all parties.

Ah yeah sorry misunderstood you post. You were talking Bellingham specifically this summer rather than a cm.

Yes, we 100% need a CM probably two ideally but we spent a fortune on a fee and wages for Grealish, will be doing similar for Haaland and still need to find a LB and maybe RB options.

has to be a wum, or plain ol' attention seeking. Yes yes you are entitled to your yada yada....Under Pep, slow lethargic tackle-averse non-reactive players don't get on the pitch, imo, you think otherwise, must be a miracle that we top the league ffs
Dude calm the fucken down, you will have a stroke. I have my views you have your own, am just expressing mine. It doesn't mean if I prefer whatever I prefer, city will go buy them. So relax your tits, I don't make the final decision nor would I like to or qualified to. So I hope your blood pressure comes down
