Unless we now go for it. It wouldn’t be the first time a player had come out and said I’m not leaving then leaves. Just depends on whether you think we’d really pay it and want Bellingham

FB (3) Walker Cancelo Zin (needs +1 at least)

CB (4) Stones Dias Laporte Ake (solid with THB integrating back or out again?)

DM (1) Rodri (needs +1 solid back up and +1 rotation from AM role)

AM (4) KDB Bernie Foden Grealish (needs +1 at least that can also rotate DM)

Winger (3) Mahrez Sterling Jesus (needs +1 but all could be gone in next 12 months)

ST (2) Haaland Alvarez (done)

So I have us needing at least another 4 (6 total) ready to contribute straight away. More if anyone else leaves. 5 in wont be enough. 2 for every position if we want to compete on all fronts again

If things are as they are being reported and Gundo is in Madrid, then it might make sense for a player Mendes has offered to us and to replace Sterling and Jesus.

No point if it means we have to send Sterling the other way, for me. Would make sense if Phil/Jack were to be given more minutes in midfield though with one more player coming in to cover Rodri

I sure as hell hope Felix isn't the player coming in.

He has not even shown he can play at an elite level in La Liga, It's a massive gamble, and the price would be obscene.

I'd much rather pay the premium and get a player like Leao from Milan.
