Here’s a left field one.
If Mahrez or Sterling did leave, maybe even late in the window, the club decide not to rush into buying a replacement but didn’t want to be left relying too much on Palmer and or other youth players.
How about signing Bale for a year?
He was still very useful for Spurs last season, we have the best medical department in the country IMO, he wouldn’t be overused, but could rotate in.
He apparently wants to keep playing club football so he can keep playing for Wales and the other option seems to be Cardiff who aren’t going to be paying him anything much so wages aren’t an issue.
Could lend a lot of CL winning experience to a side losing 2 or 3 of its most experienced players, gives the club time to scout and negotiate for a long term RW and try out the kids and in return he gets to add playing for Pep to his resume and probably a PL title.
well at Spurs in 20/21. You have to be kidding me, he was a disaster back at Spurs, that simply did not work out for all parties.Or if we leave Keepers fantasy land and live in the real world…
He is excellent in 13/14, 14/15, 15/16, has an injury effected 16/17, is MOTM in the champions league final in 2017/18.
Then he falls out with Zidane and agrees to a move to China in summer 2019 WHICH FLORENTINO PEREZ PULLS THE PLUG ON.
He barely plays in 19/20 despite being fit, plays well at Spurs in 20/21.
Your version of events is so wrong its embarrassing, Perez himself would find it cringeworthy.
Read less Marca.

I'd stay clear of bale. His form at spurs fluctuated too much and I know spurs fans who aren't even keen on having him back. I think the guys checked out of football after having a horrible end to his Madrid career and I don't think we'll see a shade of the player he was. Loves his golf more now too it seems haha. Here’s a left field one.

Not what I was hoping to read tbh, but thanks for the info anyway. That article from Blackburn is interesting. Says Phillips would cost upwards of 50m, no mention of a clause.
50 mil it is then! Go get him quick and get it over with. That article from Blackburn is interesting. Says Phillips would cost upwards of 50m, no mention of a clause.
This will be his 3 rd season so he’s now established and Walker will start to need managing . He’ll play plenty on either side. We dont always play one wayHe’s been here 3 years and has never once been picked ahead of Walker at RB for more than 1 game at a time to rest Walker, why would that change now?

LolI'm increasingly inclined to agree with this view and also don't see him being here much past next summer
My trajectory on Cancelo has been almost the complete opposite of everyone else's on this forum. I defended him in his first season as it was apparent he had bags of talent and could be a real asset to us, but as his wider reputation has improved his downsides rankle me more than any other player for some reason. I think I can forgive poor execution of a good idea more than consistent poor decision making, no matter how technically excellent the player is
They don't need to answer, anyway I thought the ITKs liked the attention. Can people stop begging for daily transfer news from Tolmie, etc.
If they hear anything and they can share then I'm sure they will.
It isn't a soap opera where there's new episodes every day with new information daily.
There's bullshit news on twitter every day, if you want it, but that's because they want the clicks for advertising.
He wasn't wrong! Cucurella news coming out of Spain nowJust had a text Marc Cucurella done deal , sterling pushing for a move away.

Cancelo is not nearly the right back walker is. He's not been close to decent since he was attacked.Because firstly you are talking about signing a left back, which frees up Cancelo. cancelo has been first choice left back because we don’t actually have one, hence why he’s not always played at RB. Plus
Secondly, Walker will be another year older and whilst his pace is a real asset that’s going to start dropping and cancelo has soooo much more to his game.
