Hence we need acceleration and timing more than pace. Most of the games we play is 90% in the opponents half anyway with no space behind the fullback until we score

So what do you reckon raz-wise, will we be looking to buy an attacker should he leave or stick with what we got?
Wow .... in an ideal worldWe have asked about Reece James.
Ake and Raheem would be £110m.
They didn't really want to pay that, so we have proposed a solution.
It would mean James and £40m coming to us.
Thoughts?
I think we are very short at right-back and it would be a phenomenal deal?
I'd feel a bit more comfortable with a replacement but to be honest I felt a lot less confident about going into this season without a striker then I will going into next season without a replacement for raz, I reckon we'll do absolutely just fine either wayLooking to buy.
Bet Foden does :)Loads of players want to end their careers at their boyhood clubs.
Hardly any do.
Walker & James at rb
Cancelo & Cucurella at lb
Walker although he hasn't lost his pace is coming to the twilight of his career so when he retires Couto would be his natural replacement

They were buying at 34 let alone selling. That's what United made the mistake of doing for their top players...
If we sell both ake and sterling to chelsea than we will be strengthening our direct rival and at the same time weakening our squad.Unless I’m mistaken, I don’t think the deal tolmie mentioned is actually what is available to us. That’s just what we’ve asked for, to which Chelsea will obviously say no as it’s way too good a deal for us and too bad a deal for them to decimate their defence even further. I think if they offer £100m for the two, they get both. If not, they just take Sterling.
Your gut feeling or club rumour?Looking to buy.
Do we really need to buy? Zin further forward is something I’d certainly like to see and give Palmer a chance?
Not if the Sheikh gets bored!Bet Foden does :)
Garcia did too, bizarrely.Every season there are at least two academy players who we're certain will get way more minutes this year, we're always wrong, only time under Pep we've ever been correct was Foden. Palmer this year is far more likely to get 2 league appearances than he is to get 20.

Don’t laugh but Pep likes Werner and I wonder…as we are talking to Chelsea….Looking to buy.
Fair, although he was rated more highly before he flopped in the first team.I don't think we expected Garcia to break through though, since we didn't rate him nearly as high as we rate Palmer/McAtee/Delap until he was already suddenly in the first team

There is a good player there, he is rapid and can play all along the front line.
i dont know why you're conveniently ignoring the fact we got grealish last summer who seemingly replaced nobody.I feel less confident losing Raz Gabi and Torres with Alvarez the only incoming forward then I did going into last season without replacing Aguero, who Haaland will now replace.
But all moot, as I just can't see the club not replacing Sterling and Jesus with at least one other player.
Yes has kit manHave they put a bid in for Pep yet?
