It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Gvardiol makes a lot more sense as a Ake replacement above the rest of the names. He plays CB but can also play Left back he’s also left footed. Little funny fact here his nickname is ”Little Pep” as he played as a midfielder at youth level at Zagreb before the coach moved him into defence.
If I’m not mistaken he’s really quick too

He may be happier to be a squad player for a year or so as well?

remember the chelsea fan who said sterling is city's best player, that we're getting played and he's gonna win them the league? youtube kindly reminded me of his takes from 1 year ago

oh interesting name....

None of those would be £50m and accept a 4th choice simultaneously. It wouldn't make sense for us to spend 70-80m on a 4th choice CB on the flipside, fairly certain Gvardiol was priced at 80m by Leipzig when Spurs asked for him. I think a more realistic name I've come across via a City account is Salisu from Southampton, or maybe Kilman from Wolves.

Never heard of this guy, is he reliable?

Not the worst of suggestions. He isn't yet a full international but it isn't going to be cheap.Salisu has enough quality and he will probably be content in being a squad player (even though he maybe going to the World Cup with Ghana)

Transfer Market have his current value at £16mill.

Only 23, perfectly capable ball playing centre back and also used to playing in a system that relies on a high line and beating high press under Hassnhuttl. I hope this is true and we can get him.
