Is 5 senior defenders more than most teams? Which teams are you comparing us with, since its obviously not PL teams.

And yes, potentially is an assumption. This is a transfer speculation forum and I was writing down my thoughts on what was being speculated in the news today, that we might sell Bernardo late in the window for a low fee, which is why I used the phrase ”if we sell him” in my original post.

The problem ia obviously that we waited until one week before the season started to bid for him, he has been mentioned with us since May. We could have started biding 2 months ago and had his alternative here 1 month ago. Or waited to sell Zinchenko until we had a replacement lined up. Its been 3 months since the season ended and I assume Txiki had his list with potential LBs done in February. No need to wait until August to get it done, which is what Im complaining about.

I think you need to step back and think a bit more clearly before posting. You seem to be getting rather worked up about hypotheticals.

I don’t understand some people, the only RB/LB i would have paid close to 70 million euros is Phillip Lahm, and prime Dani Alves.
Some of you need to wake up, the guy is not worth that much. He has no credentials, and no guarantee of success. Get over it. If we don’t get a full back, we don’t. I am still fucking waiting on a trophy-less season for us and this squad. And i HARDLY, doubt this will be the one. If you want transfers done in 5 minutes, go play Career Mode on FIFA.
