Disappointed we're not strengthening this window, Arsenal are certainly going all out for that title and if they get Camavinga on loan they will definitely take some stopping . I think the main issue we'll have is getting replacements in at a fee we are prepared to pay

If we need 2 CM's, a LCB, 2 fullbacks (we already need one) and a winger that would be a serious outlay and I'm not sure we'll get more than £30m for any of those players other than Bernardo, simply due to the state of finances outside the PL.

More than a chance we do some self harm again like this summer where we let someone go who wants to leave (Zin) and don't replace them due to the fee wanted for our target.

Wonder if we could get a swap deal in anywhere.

I would be really surprised if Walker leaves this summer.
His contract runs out in Summer 24
I think he stays with us next season to keep an outside chance of being involved in Euro's 24 and then leaves on a free to Shef Utd or smaller PL Club for a swan song to his career.

He will be 34 by summer of 24. It would be an ideal end to a fantastic city career.

In my opinion, its either we get 10-15M this summer window for a 33 year old right back, or we keep him for the last year of his contract and continue to have him help Rico become the right back for the future.

Yep, it would be an interesting decision for him and the club on if making a small profit on his transfer fee is worth more then keeping him for the last year of his contract.

Of course, if he comes to the board and asks for the transfer to his boyhood club for the final act of his career then I believe we would owe that to him for his great service to the club.
