I'm not exactly enthusiastic on the idea of Declan Rice but I do sometimes wonder what people on here would have made of the Gareth Barry signing back in the day.

Barry was one of the most underrated City players whilst playing for us.He did all the spadework, the ugly side of football but by fuck the lad could play.I'm not exactly enthusiastic on the idea of Declan Rice but I do sometimes wonder what people on here would have made of the Gareth Barry signing back in the day.
I remember as he was about to leave City for Everton an Everton mate of mine was not being very kind to him and I said lets wait and see and I think you`ll have a change of heart.
Months later and he held his hand up, as did many other Evertonians (according to him).
