It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I am on board with the Rodrigo Riquelme signing but does he have enough quality to make an real impact?

Txiki is caught off guard this window.. Im not convinced. And Riquelme is part of this, I like him as a player though. But I dont think they really expected Gundo to go and is on their heels because of that. Surely Mac Allister etc would have been worked on earlier then. The (obvious) targets are drying up. Bellingham, Szoboslai, Tonali and now Veiga.. even Tielemans really
Yep, the man who signed the treble winning players was caught off guard. Lol

We surely won't pay that much just to do Girona a favour, and he's nowhere near good enough for us.

Not sure you can argue he's one for the future either - he's older than Haaland and Foden.

I wouldn't call the Kovacic signing being caught off guard

We will know the deal is close once the buzz word bingo card is full.

We would need to have evaluated our options, unlocked the door, monitored the player. Pep must be in love with the player, oh and talks must enter the crucial hours, within the coming days the talks could intensify before reaching the final stages..

Then we have to wait for the player to pack their bags and have their goodbye meal before the medical.

That is not fair comparison Haaland and Foden are among best talents of their generation,he is same age as them, also reports are he doesn't want to go on loan.

I am sure you know everybody in England, journalists+ all "ITK"s on here (2) thought he would extent, as late as 2 days before. +Gundos self professed call to Pep.
Never thought it. Who was the last player to run down his contract with us and then re-signed? Please don't include Fernandinho as we had an understanding later in his stay here that he would go year to year that was both to his and our liking...
