It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

Because the price has to suit us too and there has to be something in it for us, barcelona still owe us money from the torres transfer and we shouldnt be a charity to help them or any other team out, i know we have a reputation of not keeping players that dont want to stay but we have to stop giving players away to other teams to help them out, especially spanish ones when tebas has done nothing but slander us.

i believe in the fact we have given Bernardo a number to bring us and that is rumoured to be £70m?

I cant remember any specific examples but it just feels like we allow ourselves to be lowballed and dont sell our players for the true value, but maybe thats more of a feeling than relaity

If you think Tebas is critical of City, have a look at what he says about Barcelona.

He may not be a particularly pleasant man, but he's behind all the rules that are trying to stop Barca overspending. They are not friends in any sense.

Which is fine if he applied those rules across the board but he doesnt apply them to madrid which is a bit hypocritical really

Can I ask a random question? I am heading across the pond in October and want to catch one of the arsenal or Brighton matches. Is there a thread that outlines logistics for buying tickets? As I understand it arsenal will be very difficult based on priority so want to get as much info as I can so I can plan dates.

I know it’s obviously the wrong thread so thanks for pointing me in the right direction
Try other sites

Facebook has a page where others sell tickets

PM me if info needed

I think thats quoted number and i think thats incredibly low
Fairly sure it's a jump on what we'd let him go for previous years. He's at his peak at the moment, but he's turning 29 this year.

If you look at the transfer fees for players over 30, apart from Ronaldo, there's nothing even close to £70m. He's at the peak of his wage earning power, but likely have little resale value.

I did read that City considered the price that Rice went for as a new benchmark, but I'd be surprised as, even though Bernardo is better now, players his age don't sell for anything like the price of the top 24 year olds.

They're applied to all the clubs in La Liga.

Barcelona were just in more precarious financial shape when they were brought in. They likely dropped in revenue due to Messi leaving, and they haven't done that well in the Champions League for the last few seasons.
