In cup competitions, anything is possible.
However there was a surprising stat someone posted a few weeks ago which stated that out of their 14 EC/CL wins, Real had only achieved the Champions League & La Liga double three times.
Listening to Calderon a few weeks back regarding Bellingham, he stated Real's priority is always the CL. This shows how difficult it is to win both that competition & the league.
What makes our Tr3bl3 all the more remarkable is the gap we made up on Arsenal in the toughest league in the world (certainly tougher than when ManUre achieved their treble), & that we had to beat Bayern, Real & Inter to achieve it.
Not forgetting a derby in the FA Cup final. It was undoubtedly tougher than the rags, who won 3 and drew 3 of their last 6 games to scrape the title thanks to Arsenal choking, had cup replays to get through the quarters and semis of the cup and had what history sees as challenging games against Inter and Juve to make the final. Juve and Inter finished 7th and 8th in Serie A that season it should be noted.

Pep loves Valverde and Madrid would sell for around 75-80m quid. Less than Rice for a far superior player. He wants to stay put, though.
