Based on this video, the guy doesn't seem bad and still has potential for improvement. I assume he plays in the middle.

Why do you want us to try and win the title with a Championship level kid instead of someone like Kimmich or Caceido?
McAtee could easily be much better than Caicedo if given a chance.

Which is why he needs to go on loan, so if he isn’t that good someone else drops points and not us.
If he turns out amazing then we get him back after a season with somewhere like Fulham or Palace.

A loan is a death sentence for 95% of City youngsters. He looks like he's just about survived last year. If we send him on another one, there is a zero percent chance he'll ever make it here.
